I moved to Reston with my family in 1969. I completed my K-12 education in Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated from Oakton High School in 1982. I have lived in Reston, Herndon and Great Falls. I am very knowledgeable of the schools, the neighborhoods and all that our area of Northern Virginia has to offer. I am often called upon by friends for complimentary concierge service which I am always happy to oblige. If you want it, I can find it!

I graduated from Emory University with a BA in Classics. I then attended George Mason University where I was working towards a combination BSN/MSN with a specialty in Midwifery. But I met the man of my dreams and the rest is history.

Ed spent 30 years of his professional career working in the IT industry, starting as a computer technician repairing computers back when a computer was the size of a refrigerator. He worked his way up the corporate ladder and ended his IT career as President and Chief Operating Officer of a NASDAQ listed company. The experience that he gained in negotiating contracts with both vendors and clients over a 30 year period has served him well in his career as a REALTOR. It also taught him how to be a “people person” since a company is nothing without its employees, clients and its relationships.
Ed & Kim have been able to establish a highly successful real estate business by capitalizing on his business experience in managing companies and her experience and knowledge of the real estate market in the Northern Virginia area. Having grown up in a real estate family and helping her mom set up for open houses as a kid, joining The Spear Realty Group was a natural step for Leanna.
Leanna moved to Los Angeles, CA as a teenager where she worked as an actress in films, television, and commercials. She then attended the University of Southern California and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Theatre. She now works as an acting teacher and specializes in 5-7 year old young actors, which has taught her how to practice both patience and joy.
Since joining The Spear Realty Group in 2012, Leanna provides clients excellent service after a transaction is complete to ensure that The Spear Realty Group will be their Realtors for life. She is currently training to obtain her California real estate salesperson license and hopes to make The Spear Realty Group truly bi-costal.
